In addition to a solid dependable

Audacity provide the best in the business. - JD

America's in recession and we're in the leisure industry, yet we
must be doing something right as despite the unprecedented
difficulties facing our economy, Genesis Hobby has been
blessed with modest sales growth, which means we're
hiring! Moreover, while our products are pick-of-the-litter,
they're also discretionary so if customers aren't happy, they have
alternatives. Thus, we exist for one reason . .
. to serve our customers. This guides our every customer
interaction, and combined with good products, is key to our
success.
Whether you're fielding a support call, editing a web page,
or packing an order, know this . . . the only important
thing is whether our customer is happy. If they're not happy
for any reason it's up to us to figure out how to make them
happy, which ultimately means paying attention to the smallest
detail. The Devil is in the details is an old German saying,
and nowhere is it more true than around here where even using your
instead of you're (the proper contraction for 'you are') on
a web page may irritate some
customers. Ultimately, your job is to get it right,
no excuses. If you become part of our team, you're
either contributing to our success - or risk being perceived as
part of the problem - thereby finding yourself out on your ass
because our success pretty much derives entirely from satisfying
our customers.
For
example, if it'll bother you to lend a hand packing
orders because you hired on to handle dealer sales, don't
apply! In fact, how far you go with us is entirely up to you,
which we know sounds trite. However, it's no less true for
being trite because details count. America's a
wonderful place because anybody can become
somebody by dint of hard work and
solid ethics. The same is true here at
Genesis. If you think and dream big, if you're a down to
earth hard worker, if doing it right describes you, then we
invite you to explore your career opportunities.

Position: Fulfillment Technician
(Part-time)
Department: Warehouse
Responsibilities Include:
Your primary area of responsibility is picking or packing
products to fulfill customer orders. Duty hours are
days. This is a part-time position.
There are no small jobs at Genesis and fulfllment has
perhaps the most impact on customer satisfaction. Why?
Because you're largely responsible for their happiness when they
open their box. Either what the customer ordered is there in
one piece, or it's not - no ifs, ands, or
buts! Screw this up by, for example, packing an
AUD0016 instead of an AUD0016-2 and no matter what, you've
rained on somebody's parade because they'll have to wait longer
still for their parts. If they're not happy, guess who else
isn't happy - understand?
Thanks for the fast shipping on those
parts! - Todd Wallin, Peoria, AZ
Qualifications/Experience:
The ideal candidate must be meticulous, with excellent
attention to detail, and be able to read a sequence of letters and
numbers and match them to the products ordered. For example,
AUD3068MT-25 is not the same as AUD3068ST. Moreover, you must
be able to walk and stand on concrete all day if needed, be able to
lift 50 lbs on an occasional basis, and cheerfully attend to other
duties as assigned.
If you believe you fit the criteria, please mail your resumé
along with a brief cover letter explaining why you think you're the
right person for the opportunity.
